CLGA profiled in the American Historical Association LGBT newsletter

The CLGA is profiled in the Fall 2010 newsletter of the Committee on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender History (CLGBTH), available online here. The CLGBTH was founded in 1979 to promote the study of homosexuality in the past and present by facilitating communication among scholars in a variety of disciplines working on a variety of cultures. The Committee has been officially recognized as an affiliate of the American Historical Association and meets annually in conjunction with the AHA conference.

The Committee on LGBT History publishes two newsletters each year. Newsletter contents include book reviews, announcements concerning books, journals, conferences, seminars, symposia, fellowships, grants, and research; membership information and updates; news from the Committee’s Chair, and other material. Newsletters are distributed to paid members, sibling associations in other disciplines, and journals, newsletters, magazines, publishers, library/archives, and organizations involved in related work.
